Mark Borland elected president of Law Society of Northern Ireland
Mark Borland
Mark Borland has been elected as president of the Law Society of Northern Ireland.
Mr Borland is a senior partner at Antrim-based Conway Todd & Co and has more than 30 years’ experience in conveyancing, property, wills and probate.
He has been an active contributor to the Law Society’s work for nearly a decade.
As president, his priorities include promoting the value of skilled legal work, and continuing efforts to improve regional engagement and collegiality within the profession.
An interview with Mr Borland will appear in the upcoming winter edition of The Writ, where he discusses the future of the profession, the importance of accessible legal services and his commitment to representing solicitors across Northern Ireland.
The new presidential team also includes senior vice-president Colin Mitchell and junior vice-president Eoghan McKenna.
