Maples to unite legal and financial services businesses in single Dublin HQ

The Maples Group has set out plans to bring its legal and financial services businesses in Dublin together under one roof.

Maples and Calder (Ireland) LLP and MaplesFS will both be based at 75 St Stephen’s Green from 2028, following a planned renovation of the building.

Dublin is the Maples Group’s second-largest base, with over 550 team members out of almost 3,000 staff worldwide.

Peter Stapleton, Maples’ EMEA managing partner, said: “This is a pivotal moment for the Maples Group.

“Currently, our leading international law firm and full-scale financial services business are in different locations in Dublin.

“Bringing all our Dublin teams together at 75 St Stephen’s Green will create a single, integrated headquarters that embodies our One Group vision — where legal and financial services work side by side to deliver truly seamless solutions for clients.

“As we mark our 20th anniversary in Ireland, this investment underlines our long-term commitment to the market and our confidence in the next phase of our growth here.”

Stephen O’Donnell, global head of fiduciary, added: “Uniting our teams in one state-of-the-art, sustainable workplace at the heart of St. Stephen’s Green is about setting our people and our clients up for long-term success.

“A single, purpose-built space will accelerate collaboration across disciplines, strengthen our culture and create capacity for future growth.

“Our clients’ needs are evolving and increasingly cross-border; this move ensures we can respond with the scale, agility and integrated capabilities that distinguish the Maples Group in Ireland and globally.”

The relocation will follow a phased timeline aligned to a full-shell-and-core renovation and subsequent fit-out of 75 St Stephen’s Green.

During this period, the group will “implement a consultation-led workplace strategy to shape the design, technology and client experience of the new headquarters”.
