The office of the Lord Chief Justice, Sir Declan Morgan, joins Twitter on Monday.

The Lord Chief Justice’s office’s account - @JudiciaryNI - will be used to publish judgments and summaries of judgments, as well as publications of the Judicial Studies Board.

A policy document published on the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service website states that the account will be monitored every day.

It adds: “We welcome feedback and ideas from all our followers and will endeavour to respond where possible.

“Where we can, we will point followers to additional information already in the public domain.”
