London Irish Lawyers Association seeking mentors
The London Irish Lawyers Association is looking for mentors to join its 2026/27 mentoring programme.
The London Irish Lawyers Association (LILA) is a professional organisation for lawyers based in London with an affinity to the island of Ireland. The LILA mentoring programme re-launched last year and attracted over 80 participants; the LILA are now looking for mentors for this year’s programme. The aim of the programme is to connect experienced mentors with mentees from the island of Ireland and beyond who are contemplating a career in law or embarking on the first steps in such a career. LILA accepts mentees who are in their final year of university all the way up to a few years post-qualification.
The programme attracts significant interest from mentees, and mentors who are qualified lawyers of any seniority, experience and background are always greatly appreciated. The programme is flexible and mentors and mentees can tailor their relationship to suit their preferences. LILA usually hosts at least one in-person social event in London where participants can come together and share their experiences in a relaxed social setting.
Participants in last year’s programme were enthusiastic about the programme, with one mentor expressing that they “believe the networking opportunities with both mentees and mentors is beneficial for [their] own career development.”
If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please fill out the sign up form. If you have any questions, please email contact@londonirishlawyers.co.
