IWLA to host AGM with guest speaker Sally Hayden

The Irish Women Lawyers Association is to host its AGM next week, where the guest speaker will be award winning author Sally Hayden.
This is a great chance to catch up with fellow women in law, expand your knowledge, and find out more about how IWLA can support your practice.
The AGM will take place on 23 July at the Law Society lecture hall.
Ms Hayden has reported from more than 35 countries across Africa, the Middle East and Europe, bringing global attention to some of the world’s most pressing humanitarian crises and is adjunct professor at UCD Sutherland School of Law and has lectured at Princeton, New York University and Boston University.
Her acclaimed first book, My Fourth Time, We Drowned: Seeking Refuge on the World’s Deadliest Migration Route, won widespread international recognition and has been translated into multiple languages. Her second book, This Is Also a Love Story, was published in 2026.
