Mediator Academy’s latest group of trainees had the opportunity to learn about this journey directly from Court of Appeal Judge-turned-Mediator Mr. Justice Michael Peart.

Justice Peart offered insights and advice from his own transition to mediation, including stories from the mediation room and the many and sometimes unexpected rewards of switching from the bench to the mediator’s chair.

The intensive, small-group training which is certified by the International Mediation Institute gave trainees the opportunity to ask questions of Justice Peart, and get feedback from him on their practical learning activities. We were joined by experienced solicitors, barrister and human resources professionals, who learned as much from each other as they did from the faculty.
