A recording of her lecture, titled “On the role of constitutional identity: Teach solais or will-o’-the-wisp?”, will soon be made available, while a text version will be published in the next edition of The Irish Jurist.

This year’s lecture formed part of celebrations marking 10 years since UCD Sutherland School of Law moved into its current building.

Chief Justice Donal O’Donnell introduced Judge Kingston, while UCD president Professor Orla Feely also addressed the crowd, which included the Attorney General, many members of the judiciary, distinguished members of the wider legal profession and staff and students.
