And finally… porridge breakfast

A woman who insistently tried to order a breakfast sandwich from a prison security booth which she mistook for a drive-through restaurant has been jailed for driving under the influence of drugs.

Lizabeth Ildefonso, 44, drove up to the Riverhead Correctional Facility in Suffolk County, New York and ordered a “bacon, egg and cheese”.

Deputy Sheriff Yvonne DeCaro told the woman that she was at a prison and not a drive-through, but she “insisted that she really wanted a sandwich”, the sheriff’s office told PIX11.

The deputy said he subsequently noticed that the woman’s pupils were dilated, her eyes were glassy and she had white powder on her nose.

She was arrested after failing a sobriety test and, on top of it all, was found to be driving without a valid license.

Ildefonso has been charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and driving without a license.
