Ex-solicitors to be sentenced for conspiracy to commit fraud in February

Two former Cork solicitors who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud will not be sentenced until February 2021.

Keith Flynn, 46, and Lyndsey Clarke, 37, pleaded guilty in September to charges of conspiring with each other to defraud Allied Irish Bank, Bank of Ireland, Ulster Bank, and other financial institutions.

The couple were originally due to be sentenced at Cork Circuit Criminal Court last week, but Judge Seán Ó Donnabháin adjourned the matter to 22 February 2021.

Both Mr Flynn and Ms Clarke were remanded in custody.
