Employment lawyer Rosemary Connolly announces retirement

Rosemary Connolly, one of Northern Ireland’s leading employment lawyers, has retired after 42 years of practice.

In the 30 years since its establishment, Warrenpoint-based Rosemary Connolly Solicitors has been involved in some of the most significant cases in the fields of employment and equality law in the jurisdiction.

In a statement, Ms Connolly said: “I am delighted that my colleagues Rachel Devine, Leanne Murphy and Emma Sheppard will continue to offer specialist employment and equality law advice and representation and a full range of general legal services to our local community and I know that the practice will continue to thrive under their leadership.

“I am grateful to all the wonderful clients and colleagues with whom I have worked over all these years and have the fondest of memories as I head into a new chapter.”

Ms Connolly told Irish Legal News that she intends to continue to provide services as an accredited mediator and commentator on topical legal issues.
