Dillon Eustace appoints new heads of asset management & investment funds and commercial litigation

Dillon Eustace has announced the appointments of Cillian Bredin as head of asset management & investment funds and Peter Bredin as head of commercial litigation.
Mr C Bredin succeeds Etain de Valera and Mr P Bredin succeeds John O’Riordan.
As partner in the firm’s asset management & investment funds team, Mr C Bredin has 18 years’ experience advising investment funds and asset management clients in Ireland and internationally.
Mr C Bredin’s experience spans a diverse range of investment strategies, from private credit and private debt to liquid alternatives, money market funds, index trackers, hedge funds, real estate and UCITS. Mr C Bredin also has a particular interest in complex international fund structuring and the regulation of sustainable investing.
Mr P Bredin is a partner in Dillon Eustace’s commercial litigation team and has 20 years’ experience advising clients on complex commercial disputes and investigations. His practice encompasses disputes involving financial services, business relationships, professional duties, fraud and insurance coverage. He also advises on regulatory inquiries and investigations as a member of the firm’s regulatory investigations team.
Mr P Bredin is a member of the International Bar Association and the Commercial Litigation Association of Ireland and currently serves as chair of the Cross Border Disputes and Compliance Committee of DRI, a leading organisation of defence lawyers and in-house counsel.
