Dillon Eustace has announced the appointment of Keith Robinson, a partner in the Firm’s banking and capital markets team, as managing partner.

He succeeds Donnacha O’Connor, who, after six years, returns to full-time practice in the Firm’s asset management and investment funds and financial regulation teams.

Mr Robinson brings more than 20 years’ experience advising domestic and international clients on complex financing and capital markets transactions. His expertise spans portfolio acquisitions and sales, fund finance, real estate finance, acquisition and leveraged finance, distressed asset transactions, structured finance and capital markets.

Before joining Dillon Eustace, Mr Robinson worked in the banking department of two leading Irish law firms, the National Treasury Management Agency’s banking unit and in the United Arab Emirates, where, amongst other things, he advised the UAE Government on the recapitalisation of conventional and Islamic UAE banks.

Welcoming the appointment, Mr O’Connor said: “I am delighted to congratulate Keith on his appointment as managing partner. Keith has played an important role in the success of the Firm over many years and has always demonstrated his determination, leadership and vision for the Firm. He takes over at a really exciting time and I have no doubt that he will guide the Firm to continued success.”

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Robinson said: “It is a great honour to be appointed managing partner of Dillon Eustace to build on the Firm’s market leading position. I wish to thank Donnacha for his commitment and dedication and I am delighted that he will continue to play an important role in the Firm as he returns to full-time practice. I look forward to working with my fellow partners and the wider Dillon Eustace team as we continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients and invest in our people. With our talented team, collaborative culture and ambitious vision for the future, I am excited about the opportunities ahead and privileged to lead the Firm through its next phase of growth and development.”
