NI: Correction to Irish Legal News

Following our report on Monday 3 October about guidelines to judges over accepting gifts from other legal professionals, the Office of the Lord Chief Justice in Northern Ireland has asked us to point out:

  1. No complaint of the kind suggested was received by the Office of The Lord Chief Justice;

  2. The report to which we referred was subject to a correction published in The Irish News on Saturday 8 October

    3. We regret any misunderstanding and are happy to set the record straight.
