Callan Tansey Solicitors LLP will tomorrow welcome attendees to its annual medico-legal conference, taking place in Galway.
The “Pathways to Progress” conference brings together leading voices from the medical, legal and academic fields to address some of the most topical issues of the day in healthcare law.
High Court judge Ms Justice Emily Egan will deliver the opening keynote address on medical negligence litigation in Ireland.
Niamh Ní Mhurchú, joint managing partner at Callan Tansey Solicitors, said: “We are so fortunate to be joined by a host of speakers who are national and international experts in their areas — medical law, AI and assistive technology, women’s health, and assisted decision-making.
“Meaningful progress in medical negligence law can only be achieved through collaboration.
“This year’s conference provides an invaluable opportunity for all the stakeholders in the medico-legal sphere to come together, share experiences and shape a better future for patients and the healthcare system.”
The conference will take place in the Glenlo Abbey Hotel on the shores of Lough Corrib in Galway on Friday 26 September.
