The non-profit Belfast Solicitors Association (BSA) is hosting a pub quiz later this month in support of local homelessness charity the Welcome Organisation.

The charity event will take place at The House Pub & Kitchen in Stranmillis on Thurdsay 28 April 2016 from 9pm–11pm. Those who wish to attend have been asked to confirm their place by Friday 22 April.

Olivia O’Kane, chair of the Belfast Solicitors Association, told Irish Legal News: “As we all sit in our warm comfortable homes it is hard to imagine homeless people dying on our streets, yet this year has seen tragedy after tragedy on the streets of Belfast.

“At the end of last year the Belfast Solicitors’ Association nominated The Welcome Organisation - supporting homeless people in Belfast and beyond - as our charity. Little did we realise at that time just how pressing the issue was about to become.

“As part of our efforts to raise much needed funds for this very worthwhile charity, the BSA has submitted some relay teams for the Belfast City Marathon on the 2nd of May. We are also hosting a Pub Quiz at The House Pub & Kitchen Stranmillis on 28 April 2016.”

Each £10 ticket includes nibbles and drinks promotions. Contact the BSA on info@belfast-solicitors-association.org to book a space.
