Diversity Mark has announced a further addition to the speaker line-up for its 2026 Annual Summit, with Mr Copeland, a legal technology and AI specialist with expertise in AI governance and inclusion, joining a programme of speakers exploring what it means to be ‘Future Ready, Human First.’ 

Taking place at Titanic Belfast on 7 October 2026, and delivered in partnership with Allstate Northern Ireland, the Summit will bring together 300 business leaders, employers, inclusion practitioners and changemakers to explore the opportunities and challenges facing workplaces in a rapidly changing world. 

Mr Copeland, who serves on the Council of the Law Society of Northern Ireland and chairs the emerging tech sub-group, will explore the intersection of artificial intelligence, bias and workplace inclusion in his session, ‘AI, Bias and Inclusion: The Risks and Opportunities.’

The Summit will examine how organisations can respond to rapid technological and societal change without losing sight of the human experience. Sessions will explore AI and innovation, culture and psychological safety, racism, mental health, violence against women and girls, and the experiences of boys and men in today’s society.

For law firms, the conversation is timely. As AI continues to reshape legal services, understanding issues such as bias, governance, ethics and regulatory compliance will be critical to ensuring technological innovation enhances, rather than undermines, trust, fairness and access to justice.
