Ann Lalor to join Bank of Ireland as group general counsel

Ann Lalor has been appointed as group general counsel at Bank of Ireland.
Ms Lalor will join Bank of Ireland in 2026 from multinational law firm Pinsent Masons, where she is currently partner and head of the Dublin office.
In her role at Pinsent Masons, Ms Lalor has advised a range of Irish and international banks and financial institutions, as well as mezzanine lenders, private funders, corporate borrowers, and investment vehicles in bilateral and syndicated banking transactions.
She has also worked across a range of other sectors including real estate and construction, transport and logistics, natural resources, and energy.
Prior to her current role, Ms Lalor held partner roles with Whitney Moore and Addleshaw Goddard (formerly Eugene F. Collins).
