The drunk 19-year-old was stopped by police following reports he was acting aggressively towards another man in Darmstadt, Hesse.

When police searching him noticed the unusual bulge, he admitted he had a snake in his underwear and pulled out a 35cm-long baby python.

The 19-year-old went on to spend the night in the drunk tank, while the snake was placed in a transport box pending investigation into its rightful ownership and whether animal welfare laws have been breached.
