And finally… running with the bills

A group of Italians took the tradition of running during Pamplona’s bull festival in Spain too far after they tried to abscond from a restaurant without paying.

Officers from the regional Navarra police force were called in after 15 people ran off without paying their bill, which amounted to €620.

The festival, which began last week and attracts over a million visitors to the city, sees hundreds of people participate in the encierros – running in front of six bulls who charge through the narrow Pamplona streets to the bullring.
