The star, whose real name Curtis Jackson, used the word “motherf*****” in front of the crowd of 40,000, and was held by police after the show.

He appeared in court the following morning and paid a fine to settle the case before returning to the US later that day.

A representative for the star said: “Mr. Jackson was only booked to host the show, when he arrived at the festival organisers asked him to perform, he obliged and used the DJ they had there.”
