And finally… poor judgement

A London man has been convicted of swiping his own defence barrister’s £300 phone during a court appearance, the London Evening Standard reports.

Bobby Heath, 26, stole his lawyer’s Samsung Galaxy while she defended him from drug driving allegations in Bexley Magistrates Court.

When she noticed it missing, police officers reviewed CCTV footage and identified him as the culprit.

He was subsequently convicted of theft in Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court and will be sentenced next week.
