And finally… not so fast

A lawyer who pinned speeding tickets on her ex-husband and a former client has been found guilty of professional misconduct and struck off.

Jinhi Kim was arrested in October 2015 after her law firm in Sydney, Australia was searched by police, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

She pleaded guilty to using her ex-husband and former client’s details to cover up road traffic offences committed by her son and father, leading to penalty notices being issued to them.

She was found by the Court of Appeal in Sydney to have engaged in “dishonest and criminal conduct that would be regarded as disgraceful and dishonourable by professional colleagues”.

Ms Kim is now studying for a graduate diploma in Divinity and “hopes one day” to apply for readmission as a solicitor.
