And finally… no cure for stupidity

Police officers have attempted to coax meth users into handing over their stash by claiming it could be contaminated with coronavirus.

A sheriff’s office in north-west Kansas, where methamphetamine remains the most popular illegal drug, posted a public appeal on Facebook.

“If you have recently purchased meth locally, it may be contaminated with the Corona Virus,” the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office said.

The officers invited meth users to take it to a local police station to “test it for free”, or contact any officer so they can “test your meth in the privacy of your home”.
