And finally… name shame

A couple have been summoned to appear in court after naming their 14-month old baby “Benito Mussolini”.

The baby had been named after one of his grandfathers, a traditional practice in Italy.

However, as he shares the name with the WWII-era fascist dictator of the country, prosecutors in Genoa have taken exception to the decision, citing concern for the child’s welfare as he grows up, Gazzetta di Parmareports.

The case follows one in Milan in which parents were called to court for naming their child “Blu” (Blue).
