And finally… lifted

A man who nicked a company president’s wallet during a job interview was tracked down using the address given on his CV.

Shogo Takeda, 24, admitted stealing a wallet from the president of an elevator maintenance company in Japan earlier this month.

Takeda - who netted ¥50,000 (€424) - explained: “I wanted to work for that company, but since I haven’t got a job I needed money.”

The company president contacted police after realising the money was missing and immediately identified Takeda as a suspect. He was quickly tracked down and arrested using the details on his CV.
