And finally… heavens above

An Israeli man has attempted to take out a restraining order – against God.

Israeli news website NRG reported that the plaintiff, David Shoshan, demanded that God stop interfering in his life.

He told the court that the Almighty had been negative towards him, although court documents didn’t provide any specific details, according to the Times of Israel.

Mr Shoshan has tried a number of times to get a restraining order through police – receiving 10 visits over 36 months. He took to the court system after failing repeatedly.

But presiding judge Ahsan Canaan threw out the case, calling it absurd.

God did not appear at the hearing.
