Police said that Jesse Shields fired his handgun at the ‘lasers’ before he and Katherine McCloskey ran to a nearby home and asked the resident to call 911 because “something was after them”.

The duo then fled to another home in Lamar Township, Pennsylvania where Shields asked to use the homeowner’s shower to remove the “goo” from his body as it was “burning his skin”, kmov.com reports.

Troopers later arrived and arrested the pair.
