And finally… bare necessities

An aggrieved beekeeper enlisted the bears who stole thousands of pounds worth of honey from his bee hives in an unwitting experiment which has revealed their expensive tastes.

Ibrahim Sedef, who produces honey on Turkey’s Black Sea coast, set up a row of bowls for the repeat offenders to see what honey they liked best, The Guardian reports.

He recorded video footage, which has since gone viral on social media, showing that the bears found that one bowl was just right – the one containing the most expensive honey in the world.

Anzer honey sells for as much as $300 (£250) per kilogram and was the undisputed favourite of Mr Sedef’s harassers.

He said: “Despite all [the financial losses], when I see the footage, I forget all the harm they have done to me, and love them.”
