The partnership with P-TECH is part of ALG’s social mobility strategy which aims to improve pathways for people in Dublin’s inner city who face barriers to accessing further education and employment.

ALG’s involvement will be to support students in P-TECH’s designated schools through mentoring and work experience. The aim is to help develop the skills needed for pursing further education and competitive careers.

Sinead Smith, head of responsible business at ALG, said: “As a large employer in the north-east inner city, we have a responsibility to help young people in our local community improve their employment prospects through education and work experience.
