A&L Goodbody has been recognised for its commitment to supporting sustainable, active and low-carbon commuting.

The firm has been awarded the Smarter Travel Mark Silver level by the National Transport Authority (NTA).

ALG said this reflects the practical steps it is taking to enable more sustainable travel choices for its people — from enhanced facilities for cyclists, walkers and runners, to support for public transport.

The accreditation also highlights the individual effort of colleagues who continue to choose healthier and lower‑carbon ways to travel.

Managing partner David Widger said: “We’re proud to receive the NTA’s Smarter Travel Mark Silver level.

“This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability and to creating a workplace that supports healthier, low‑carbon ways of travelling.

“My thanks to everyone involved for their leadership and energy in driving meaningful change across our firm.”

The firm said it now intends to work towards reaccreditation for the Gold level of the Smarter Travel Mark.
