Cleaver Fulton Rankin director William Cross has retired from the Belfast firm after 33 years.

Commenting on his long period with the firm, Mr Cross said: “Whilst much has changed, the warmth, loyalty and caring attitude of those who work at 50 Bedford Street thankfully hasn’t.”

In the run-up to his retirement, staff gathered to celebrate his contribution to the firm, particularly in the area of family and matrimonial law, where his career highlights included a victory in a case he took all the way to the Supreme Court in London. He also has experience in personal injury, dispute resolution and private client.

Mr Cross said the celebrations at Cleaver Fulton Rankin upon his retirement were “wonderful and memorable”.

In a statement, the firm wished him a “long and happy retirement”.
