The Irish government has announced new funding for Holocaust education, including virtual tours of the Auschwitz Museum and Memorial, to be made available to every secondary school in Ireland. In a significant increase on previous funding, Ireland will provide €100,000 to the Auschwitz Birkenau

Denial of the holocaust is not a human right, the European Court of Human Rights has unanimously ruled. A neo-Nazi politician, Udo Pastörs, who had been convicted in his native Germany after denying the Holocaust in a speech, made a complaint under article 10: freedom of expression.
