Whitney Moore recognised for patent work at London awards ceremony

Whitney Moore has won recognition as Ireland’s Patent Contentious Firm of the Year at the 2019 Managing Intellectual Property Awards.

Partners Aoife Murphy and Robin Hayes, as well as solicitor Caroline O’Connor, attended the London awards ceremony to receive the accolade.

The firm was also shortlisted for Trademark Contentious Firm of the Year, which was won by Mason Hayes & Curran (MHC).

John Lynch, managing partner at Whitney Moore, said: “We are delighted to have received this important and prestigious award, which acknowledges the strength of our intellectual property team.

The annual MIP awards recognise the leading firms in each jurisdiction across Europe, Middle East and Africa. The MIP awards are presented to firms, companies and individuals behind the most innovative and challenging IP work of the past year.
