Tughans promotes Patricia Rooney to employment partner

Belfast-based commercial firm Tughans has announced the promotion of Patricia Rooney to partner within its employment team.

Ms Rooney has over twenty years’ experience in employment law and has been a director at Tughans since 2010.

She is dual-qualified in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and regularly appears on behalf of clients in the Labour Court and the Workplace Relations Commission in Dublin.

She will be joined in the employment team by newly qualified solicitor Jack Balmer, a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast who completed his Institute of Professional Legal Studies qualification through Tughans and has been appointed as an associate solicitor.
