The Irish Penal Reform Trust appoints Arron Claffey‑Conneely as policy officer
The Irish Penal Reform Trust has appointed Arron Claffey-Conneely as policy officer.
A psychology and sociology graduate of the National University of Ireland, Galway Mr Claffey-Conneely also holds a Diploma in Psychotherapy from Trácht Psychotherapy Foundation, Galway.
Having previously worked as a researcher at the Centre for Pain Research at NUI Galway, Mr Claffey-Conneely brings experience across research, lecturing and student support, with a background in psychology, sociology and community development. He also held lecturing and student support roles with Equal Ireland/ATU.
Established in 1994 the Irish Penal Reform Trust is Ireland’s leading non-governmental organisation campaigning for the rights of people in prison and the progressive reform of Irish penal policy.
