The UK Supreme Court is holding its first ever essay competition, open to year 12 and 13 school pupils from across the UK, with the top prize including tea with a justice.

Have you recently been on a tour of the UK Supreme Court with your school? Did your visit spark an interest in the law? Are you considering studying law at university? Or perhaps you have a general interest in how the justice system works here in the UK.

If you are a year 12 or 13 pupil in the UK and the answer to any of these questions is yes, you might be interested in entering the first ever UK Supreme Court Student Writing Competition.

  • Second place: £75 book voucher.
  • Third place: £50 book voucher.
