Stephen Holst to continue as McCann FitzGerald managing partner

Stephen Holst has been re-elected as managing partner of McCann FitzGerald LLP for a further three-year term.

Mr Holst’s current term finishes on 30 April 2026, while his new term will run from 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2029.

He took the top job on 1 May 2022 after working as a partner in both the employment, pensions and incentive and disputes groups within McCann FitzGerald.

During his leadership, the partnership has grown by 21 per cent and the firm’s headcount by 23 per cent, with strategic investments and hires in technology, knowledge, responsible business and markets driving and supporting the firm’s growth and service delivery for clients. 

Mark White, chair of the firm, said: “The firm has enjoyed great success under Stephen’s leadership and we are extremely fortunate to have someone of Stephen’s considerable talents and leadership qualities to guide the firm.

“We are delighted that Stephen will lead us for a further term as managing partner and we look forward to continued growth under his leadership.”
