Spaces remain available for tonight’s Justice Hardiman lecture

Spaces are still available for a free lecture to be delivered by Mr Justice Adrian Hardiman on developments in the law on the admissibility of evidence tonight.

The lecture, hosted by Maynooth University Department of Law, will be chaired by Liam Herrick, advisor to President Michael D Higgins and honorary adjunct senior lecturer at the Department of Law. It will be followed by a response from Dr Claire Hamilton, senior lecturer at the Department of Law.

Mr Justice Hardiman’s lecture will address the recent Supreme Court decision in DPP v JC, in which the Court held that evidence obtained unconstitutionally can now be admitted where officers of the claim to have no knowledge of the breach.
