Round of appointments signals growth in DAC Beachcroft Dublin

DAC Beachcroft Dublin continues to strengthen its presence in the Irish legal market with a series of promotions and appointments, including new managing partner Lisa Broderick.

She takes over from previous location head Katie da Gama, who led the office since it was founded in 2009. Ms Borderick has been a partner in DAC Beachcroft Dublin since 2010 where she established its commercial litigation practice.

Rowena McCormack and John Sheehy have both recently been promoted to the partnership in the firm.

Ms McCormack is an experienced commercial litigator and advises professionals, corporates, financial institutions, technology and media clients, and has a particular expertise in cyber risk and data breach incidents. She also advises clients on non-contentious data protection and privacy issues including GDPR.

Mr Sheehy is an integral part of the firm’s injury risk team and deals with a wide variety of claims including employer’s liability, public liability, products liability, defamation, road traffic accidents and fatal injury claims.

DAC Beachcroft has also appointed Aideen Ryan as consultant in its regulatory group. She was formerly a partner at another Dublin firm and has considerable experience advising regulators in the Irish market.

Ms Broderick said: “I’m delighted by these appointments and to be managing partner at our Dublin office at an exciting time for DAC Beachcroft in Ireland.

“We continue to retain and attract talented and committed employees who work tirelessly to help our clients and colleagues continue to succeed.  I look forward to using these very strong foundations to continue our successful growth and reinforce our strong market position.”
