OSM Partners appoint four new senior associates

OSM Partners has announced the appointment of four new senior associates within the firm’s corporate and commercial litigation, mortgage litigation, property, and personal insolvency practices.

Andrew Croughan has been appointed senior associate and leads the firm’s personal insolvency practice. Mr Croughan has over 10 years’ experience advising on commercial litigation, dispute resolution and personal insolvency. He advises on all aspects of personal insolvency law where he both advises and represents clients in contentious matters, and has acted in cases before all courts including the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. His clients include financial institutions, receivers, blue chip companies and private individuals.

Claire Colfer is senior associate in the commercial and corporate litigation practice. She has extensive experience advising on all aspects of commercial and corporate litigation, and has acted on behalf of many of Ireland’s major lending institutions, venture capital funds and receivers. Ms Colfer has over ten years’ experience in general practice acting for a range of corporate clients and private clients. She also has specialist expertise in corporate governance with a particular focus on the community, voluntary and charitable sector, and has provided legal advice and held a variety of voluntary governance and oversight related roles in national and international organisations within this sector.

Julie Sweeney is senior associate in the property law practice. She has over ten years’ experience advising on all aspects of property law including advising on retail and commercial development. She acts for a range of clients including financial institutions, asset managers, receivers, venture capital funds, credit unions, and has also acted for developers on financing and site acquisition, development, planning and subsequent resale of property. She recently advised on the sale of several licensed and retail properties countrywide, including the sale of a landmark City Centre licensed premises. Ms Sweeney also acts for private clients in the areas of estate and wealth management.

Raymond Lambe joins the firm as senior associate in the corporate and commercial litigation team. He has over ten years’ experience advising on all aspects of commercial litigation, dispute resolution, mortgage enforcement, injunctions/emergency relief and property litigation. His clients include a range of financial institutions, private equity funds, insolvency practitioners and private individuals. He also has particular expertise representing clients in litigation matters in the Circuit Court, the High Court and the Commercial Court. Prior to joining the firm, Mr Lambe worked in two of Ireland’s leading law firms.
