Orpen Franks advises on sale of Kings Laundry to French plc

Kings is a leading supplier of linen to the hospitality sector. Elis is an international multi-service provider, offering textile, hygiene and facility services solutions across Europe and Latin America.

The law firm said it was “an intensive wide-ranging transaction” with the Orpen Franks team working alongside accountants Brian Geraghty and Emma Shortt of Crowe Ireland to manage all aspects of the matter from the broad due diligence process through to the preparation, negotiation and execution of the transactional suite.

The deal remains subject to regulatory approval and is expected to occur by the end of the year.

The firm said: “We are delighted to deliver this result for our valued clients who will be remaining on in the senior management of Elis’s Irish operations.”
