Cork firm O’Flynn Exhams Solicitors (OFX) has announced the appointment of two new senior associates and two associates in response to continued growth at the practice.

The firm currently employs 45 people at its South Mall office.

Joan Byrne, recently appointed vice president of the Southern Law Association and chairperson of its conveyancing, probate & taxation committee, joins the commercial property team as senior associate.

Brendan Hogan, who has 18 years’ experience in commercial property and previously worked in the legal department of NAMA, has joined the utilities (property) team as senior associate.

Meanwhile, Eimear Boyle and Ronan Healy have respectively joined the commercial and private client teams as associates.

Ms Boyle will advise clients on matters of company law, commercial contracts and finance. Mr Healy completed his apprenticeship with OFX and will focus on residential conveyancing.

Commenting on the appointments, managing partner Richard Neville said: “These four appointments come at an exciting time for OFX as we continue to expand our offering in Cork.

“Each new Senior Associate brings with them key knowledge, contacts and experience, which complement our existing teams and our firm’s ethos and we anticipate that our new Associates will prove invaluable as we expand our operations and enhance our services to meet the growing needs of our clients.”
