Official Launch of ICCL’s infovictims.ie

The Irish Council for Civil Liberties is hosting an event in Dublin to launch its new website – infovictims.ie.
INFOVICTIMS III is an EU project that develops new and updated informative materials for victims of crime across the EU. ICCL has created a website, a Know your Rights brochure, an informative poster for courts and garda stations and an interactive geolocation mobile phone application showing victim supports across Ireland.
INFOVICTIMS intends to increase the available information for victims of crime on how the criminal justice system works, their rights and ways to exercise them.
The guest speaker at the event will be Dr Jane Mulcahy, who will speak about victims of crime and trauma.
