Office of the Attorney General to open its doors for Culture Night tour

The Office of the Attorney General is to open its doors to public tours as part of Culture Night offering visitors the opportunity to get an insight into the day-to-day workings of the office and the role it plays in Irish public law.

The Attorney General attends Cabinet as the legal adviser to the government and is the chief law officer of the State, leading significant litigation on behalf of the Irish State before domestic and international courts.

The Office of the Attorney General building, located on Upper Merrion Street, adjacent to the Department of the Taoiseach, is steeped in history and tradition. Tours will run for one night only on Friday 18 September at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm. 

Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis and can be booked from Tuesday 18 August at 10am.
