Ms Burke advised on major energy, infrastructure and construction projects in Ireland for over 20 years during her time at the firm.

Prior to joining Arthur Cox, she was head of construction at a City of London law firm.

In a statement, Arthur Cox said Ms Burke “will be greatly missed by all of us”.

The firm added: “Our thoughts are with her husband Chris and siblings Richard, Conor, David, Michele, her relatives and friends.”
