The daughters of managing partner Gerard O’Donnell, the pair represent the third generation of the O’Donnell family to practice law in Galway City spanning almost 90 years.

Mr O’Donnell is the son of the former solicitor and county registrar of Galway, who served from 1959-1979.

“Gerard O’Donnell and Emilie Waters established O’Donnell Waters Solicitors LLP as a local Galway firm almost 30 years ago,” the firm said in a statement.

“The addition of his daughters to the partnership ensures that the firm is committed to continue providing legal services to the people of Galway for decades to come.”
