A team of lawyers at McCann FitzGerald advised AIB on its €3 billion IPO, the largest IPO in Europe so far this year.

Partners Aidan Lawlor, Roy Parker, David Byers and Ronan Molony were among the key players in the legal team.

The offer included an institutional and intermediaries retail offer by the Finance Minister of c. 679 million ordinary shares at €4.40 per ordinary share, giving AIB a market capitalisation of c. €12 billion at pricing.

All of AIB’s ordinary shares were admitted to the Official Lists of the Irish and London Stock Exchanges on 27 June 2017.
