LK Shields appoints associate solicitor to IP and tech team

LK Shields has announced the appointment of associate solicitor Robert Haniver to the firm’s IP, technology and data privacy team.

Mr Haniver advises on all aspects of data protection, privacy and data security laws.

According to his new firm, Mr Haniver has worked with a number of data-rich multinationals, gaining an in-depth understanding of complex data privacy, data flow and contract structures.

His practice includes IP protection, commercialisation and licensing; commercial contracts including sourcing arrangements, software development and licensing arrangements and website/app terms of sale and service. He also advises on Irish consumer laws; product regulation, commercial agency, prize promotions and betting laws.
