Limited edition print marks 125 years since Oscar Wilde's death

A limited edition print marking the 125th anniversary of Oscar Wilde’s death has been launched to help raise funds to commemorate him.

Art for Human Rights, in collaboration with renowned Italian artist and architect Matteo Pericoli and Stoney Road Press in Dublin, has produced the limited edition print.

The print, limited to 30, depicts the window view of Oscar Wilde from his hotel room in L’Hotel Paris, formerly Hotel D’Alsace.

Available for €275 plus shipping, the profits from the sale will support Art for Human Rights’ ongoing projects, including producing additional casts of a bronze bust of Wilde commissioned by Art for Human Rights founder Bill Shipsey and made by leading Czech sculptor Marie Šeborová.

The first cast of the bronze of Wilde will be unveiled in Paris on Sunday 30 November.

For more information, contact Bill Shipsey on bill@artforhumanrights.org or via LinkedIn.
