Irish solicitor Liam Moloney has been elected as president of the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL).

Mr Moloney, managing partner of Dublin firm Moloney Solicitors, was elected to serve a three-year term at PEOPIL’s annual conference in Brussels last week.

“We are one of the largest personal injury lawyers associations in Europe and also have members in North America,” he said.

“Our primary aim is to secure access to justice and fair compensation for personal injury victims.”

Mr Moloney previously served as vice-president of PEOPIL from 2022 to 2025.

He also serves as a member of the board of governors of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), representing Ireland and the UK.
